La Tecnologia del control mental se ha extendido, y el corazon de ese controvertido e hiperviolento juego es su creador, el multimillonario Ken Castle (Michael C. Hall). Su ultima creacion es un juego de disparo en primera persona, que permite proyectar las fantasias mas salvajes de cada uno ante un publico global, utilizando prisioneros reales como avatares que luchan contra la muerte. Pero Kable (Gerard Butler), un poderoso guerrero controlado por el joven Simon, intentara liberarse a si mismo y al resto de jugadores del mundo…
